Company “Noam GmbH” has set itself many goals. Their aim is to establish a new image for lager beer in the beverage industry that goes beyond common expectations. Moreover, the family-run company from Munich is doing well – the NOAM Lager, a homage to the classic Bavarian Helle with a timelessly modern design language, is in international demand as a premium beer.
UNIQUE LOOK
The characteristic white glass bottle with its grooved structure creates a distinctive effect when fogged up against the gold-coloured lager in the background. The black and white self-adhesive labels, which are placed with millimetre precision in a barely larger window on the front and back, also contribute to the unique overall appearance. NOAM has entrusted this demanding task to a RENNER S720 Servo PSL, which aligns the bottles using a camera with a tolerance of +/- 1.5 mm after they have passed through the energy-efficient RENNER DryLine drying tunnel.
REALITY CHECK AT RENNER
Before deciding on a manufacturer, NOAM had the difficult labelling process demonstrated on a similar machine at the RENNER factory. “The result was convincing and decisive for the purchase,” reports the master brewer and technical director Andreas Judersleben. “Thanks to the high-quality technology and dedicated support, we were able to fill one million bottles in the first three weeks”.
