VFI Oils for Life is Austria’s most efficient producer of vegetable oils and fats and a European leader in the manufacture of organic oils for food production. An important part of the range of services is also third-party filling with a total of 19 different packaging lines.
THE FIRST MACHINE WAS WELL DONE
At its headquarters in Wels, this internationally successful, long-established company offers a wide variety of packaging options for its own and third-party brands. The reason for the acquisition of a first labelling machine from RENNER was a new filling line for square glass bottles that was to be built. “Despite the adverse circumstances during the Covid pandemic, the RENNER S960 PSL was delivered on time,” recalls Lukas Weber, Head of Maintenance. “The team’s commitment was sensational and the machine went into operation very quickly, almost like plug and play.”
THE SECOND AS WELL
Based on the good experience, VFI Oils for Life approached RENNER again two years later – this time for hotmelt labelling of round glass bottles. The second investment was also worthwhile: the selected RENNER S600 Pre-Cut achieves around 20 percent more output compared to the previous machine of the same size. In terms of uninterrupted production, both machines allow non-stop operation. The self-adhesive dispensers of the RENNER S PSL work in tandem, and the magazine of the hotmelt machine can be refilled with pre-cut sheet labels at any time.
